Enigma has decided to cease progression raiding for the current expansion. We could blame poor applicants, work, school, spring break, etc...

What does this mean for you? We are no longer accepting applicants for WOTLK. We will resume recruitment once the debris from the Cataclysm has been cleared and we see who is left standing.

Currently I do not raid and am not in a guild at the moment. Since I’ve came back to Vek’nilash to play with my best friend in real life, I’ve been in just for fun guilds. I raid to kill internet dragons. If the internet dragons are not destroyed, the fate of the internets is in danger. But seriously I like to raid because although PvP has a higher skill cap (in my opinion), PvE provides more immersion via lore and more people to play with.
3. Are there any members of Enigma that you feel would give you a strong recommendation?

My gear set aims for Poison Hit cap (237 assuming Imp FF or Misery) > Expertise Cap then my EP values are as follow: Haste (1.9) > Hit past Poison Hit Cap (1.84) > Crit (1.72) > Armor Penetration (1.19)
I gem for pure 20 haste in blue and yellow sockets, and 20ap/10haste in red sockets. I have a Nightmare’s Tear in my chest piece because it has the best socket bonus. Relentless Earthsiege Diamond for my meta. I have the best enchants that are available.
b. Describe your secondary spec decision. What is your gear and knowledge level for it? Would you be comfortable using your secondary spec in a raid situation if needed?
Pvp Assassination because I am an avid Pvper. If needed I would be willing to go Combat in the event no Arms warrior or Combat rogue are present. I do not have the best gear for it, but it’s better than average. Yes I am comfortable with the Combat rotation and play style.
6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class?
Major: Mutilate
Hunger for Blood
Tricks of the Trade
Minor: Vanish
Safe Fall
Blurred Speed. These glyphs give the most dps increase for PvE Assassination
7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why?
Heaven's Fall, Kryss of a Thousand Lies (Heroic) The only upgrade for my main hand, which would compliment my Lungbreaker (Heroic)
Umbrage Armbands (Heroic) My bracers are currently the weakest part of my gear and these are what Assassination rogues everywhere cream their pants for compared to the previous BiS (Toskk’s ewww armor pen)
Tiny Abomination in a Jar (Heroic) this is the best trinket available for Assassination Rogues besides Sharpened Twilight Scale (which of course should go to Warriors/Feral/Combat first)
8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices?

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec?

I supply +15% damage to a player for 10 seconds (every 30 seconds) via Tricks of the Trade and use it on the initial pull on the tank for threat.
Cloak of Shadows, Vanish, Feint, Sprint and Evasion all are tools that help my own survivability and help me gain maximum DPS uptime. Ex: Feint/Evasion Marrowgar’s Bone Storm, Cloak Curse of Topor on Deathwhisper, Sprint from adds to Deathwhisper herself, Vanish is always an option to dump aggro if for some reason I pull threat (not likely) and for Professor Putricide’s Tear Gas.
Combat brings Savage Combat (4% melee damage debuff)
10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec?
Haste Pots on the pull and during the pull. I use Flask of Endless Rage whenever doing raid content (no matter if it’s on farm), THISTLE TEA! (syke)
11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it?

Being an Assassination Rogue, I start the fight with a Tricks on the tank and open with a Garrote. I immediately put up Hunger for Blood and pop Slice and Dice. I then use 2 Mutilates and an Envenom and my Slice and Dice is back up to full duration. I use Cold Blood on cooldown with 5 point Envenoms. I also Vanish for Overkill (30% faster energy regen) I keep up Hunger for Blood 99% of the time, the only time I don’t have it is during the GCD of Garrote. Rupture is only used if there is not a Feral Druid/Warrior keeping up bleeds to put up Hunger for Blood again.

BC I've raided everything up to Illidan (SSC, Gruuls, Kara, TK, BT). WoTLK I've cleared Naxx 10, about half of 25. Seen up to Yogg on 10 and 25 Uld. Cleared TOC 10 and 25, been to anub on togc 10 only attempted 25 once. Downed everything in Icc minus Sindra on 10 and LK and Sindra on 25. For HMs I've done the first 4, attempted Fester and Rot. Done both Blood queen and princes on 10 man. Haven't done any 25 HMs.

2. Why do you want to raid with Enigma instead of your current guild? If you are not in a Guild, why? Why do you raid in general?
I've seen a lot of good things with your guild and having watched Rhoswen raid with you guys I have to say I've liked what I've seen. I'm looking to be able to see the all the content before the next Xpac or at least as much as possible. I'm not guilded atm due to a falling out with Odium. People were still talking trash about Rhos leaving and I didn't personally get along with the GL and some of the main raiders. It made for a not so enjoyable playing environment.

3. Are there any members of Enigma that you feel would give you a strong recommendation?
Well my wife is Rhoswen and I run a weekly 10man Icc pug with Snufflife and Cell.

4. Do you have ventrilo and a working microphone? What kind of computer/internet connection do you have?
Yes I have a mic. We have cable internet.

Main Spec: Combat
Gemming has been primarily Arp, I've mixed in some Hit/Exp gems to try and push those a bit higher. As I'm currently under cap for both. As for enchants I do agi or AP depending on what will end up getting me the higher dps. Minus Tuskars but thats something almost everyone should have anyways. Beserking on both weapons as the proc is just absolutely amazing.

Off spec: Mut
My main spec was Mut for a while until I grabbed weapons better for Combat. I would be Mut by choice but the wow gods have decided that I don't deserve daggers. I know the spec and rotation fairly well but its been a while since I've actually played it. Wouldn't take me long to get it back up and running though. I know its a haste/AP heavy spec. Again though its been a while. and I don't mind raiding as either.

6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class?

Major: Killing Spree, Eviscerate, Sinister Strike
Minor: Safe Fall, Blurred Speed, Vanish
From everything I've played with and the information I can find yes those are the best ones currently available. The only other option would be to sub in would be the ToT glyph

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why?

Heroic DBW, the Heroic Sharpened Twilight Scale from RS. Then Heroic Havocs Call. Reasons, the trinks are pretty much as as good as it gets for Combat, and the weapon is just amazing.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices?

Well as it seems the internet hates combat rogues atm I find getting good info can be hit or miss. For the most part though I use Wowhead and elitist jerks then word of mouth from other rogues. EJ has a lot of information and its usually really good.... provided you can comb through the BS that gets thrown in the middle. Wowhead is usually good just not as complete. Word of mouth... well thats always gonna be iffy.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec?

Enemies that I have poisoned that an increased amount of dmg from all physical dmg. Our ToT is on par if not stronger then a hunters MD. We can get the traps and hopefully when cata comes out we'll once again get to actually Sap something outside of a BG.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec?

I use Arp food and flask of endless rage. As far as I know until I hit the Arp cap those are it for me and even then only the food would be changed out.

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it?

SS, SS, SnD, Blade Flurry, Killing spree, SS, SS Adrenaline Rush, SS till I have 5 CP and Evis, SS to 4-5 CP and SnD. Once CD's are on CD the rotation ends up being SS to 5 CP and Evis, while maintaining a 4-5 CP SnD. That ends up being the rotation for the most part it changes slightly if the situation requires but if I can stand there and do nothing but DPS thats about it. oh and also I try to pool 60 energy

The only mods I use that effect my raiding is DBM, Omen and Recount. otherwise its all the wowui.

I haven't been raiding much recently so I don't have any current combat logs. Nwanda told Rhos that I should skip this for now.

Excluding emergencies, I could make all of those times.

None in Vanilla. BC, I raided as a holy priest and did some alt raids as a hunter. In Wrath I have raided as a holy priest, hunter, DK and paladin. I raided through Uld on my priest (clearing Yogg before ToC) and then swapped to my DK and raided with OGT for most of ToC.. raided with Enigma for about a month before being slapped in the face by RL

2. Why do you want to raid with Enigma instead of your current guild? If you are not in a Guild, why? Why do you raid in general?

I am in Enigma currently, although due to real life issues back in December (financial as well as computer issues) I was demoted to casual rank. I would like to reapply and raid with you people again.

You guys know me. My work schedule just relaxed and I am starting school soon and should have alot of free time available during raid times.

a. Describe your main spec gear set: Include reasons you have obtained certain stats over others, as well as your gem and enchant choices.

Main dps gear weighs heavily on the strength of an item. You will however see me using a 10 crit/10 str gem in yellow sockets if I can get a strength bonus out of it. This is because crit plays very well in a UH DK's play. Its passive effects include Wandering Plague (which vastly increases even my single target dps.. but if there are multiple mobs this talent becomes very fun, very fast) as well as increasing the secondary damage from Scourge Strike. I am currently really high on expertise and plan to swap in the Frost emblem belt as soon as I have the frost emblems for it (still debating between that or buying my T10 hands and getting better legs).

b. Describe your secondary spec decision. What is your gear and knowledge level for it? Would you be comfortable using your secondary spec in a raid situation if needed?

My secondary spec is blood tank. I have been playing around with the spec since the change to Icy Touch means threat isn't the issue it once was for DKs (Have 1 point in Ravenous Dead right now). My gear is only ok for that spec (40k-ish health, 28k armor). But I do know the class and how to play with my cooldowns. I have been the OT for heroic Sindragosa 10 man and managed to get that alright.

6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class?

For UH dps I have: Dark Death, Icy Touch and Ghoul. According to EJ these are the best single target dps DK glyphs. For my tank spec I have Death and Decay, Rune Strike and Vampiric Blood. Death and Decay is not currently the best raiding glyph and I will be changing it shortly to Death Strike. I was using DnD for the added AoE threat since I don't have 2 piece T10 for my tanking set yet.

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why?

Shadowmourne (obviously) since its the best melee dps weapon in game. Heroic Sharpened Twilight Scale or Heroic Deathbringer's Will and Heroic Blood Soaked Saronite Stompers.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices?

Elitist Jerks has always been good to me. I do usually browse the Official Forums and the forums at mmo-champion as well.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec?

Unholy Deathknights bring Ebon Plaguebringer, which increases magic and disease damage that enemy takes. And it is easily spread to other mobs. We also do incredibly AoE dps since our diseases are not limited by the AoE damage cap.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec?

Flask of Endless Rage, Dragonfin Filet, Spiced Mammoth Treats, Haste Potion (used before popping gargoyle)

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it?

Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Blood Strike, Scourge Strike, Blood Strike, RP dump (Gargoyle, Death Coil or Horn of Winter if I don't have the RP for those)... continue Scourge Striking and Blood Striking while watching my diseases, refreshing them when necessary and RP dumping when all runes are on CD or in place of a blood rune attack when RP is full.

I haven't taken one recently in a raid setting, so I'll get on that ASAP. The most important mod I have is still probably DBM. I do find that my Xperl makes it really easy for me to track my diseases on mobs as well. This makes it much simpler to know when it is time to refresh my diseases and not lose dps by dps-ing with my diseases off.

I haven't been in any logged raids recently.. I'll get on that and post them.

cleared all WoTLK on heroic except LK and Halion.

At the moment i am pvp speced and in pvp gear so....

a. Describe your main spec gear set: Include reasons you have obtained certain stats over others, as well as your gem and enchant choices. Main spec is Holy, Int is primary stat. The higher my int the more mana I am able to regen also increases my crit. Haste followed by SP and Crit.
b. Describe your secondary spec decision. What is your gear and knowledge level for it? Would you be comfortable using your secondary spec in a raid situation if needed? Ret decent gear but need new trinkets. I know that if I face-roll I do nice deeps.

6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class? Beacon, Seal of Wisdom, and Holy Light. Glyph of lay on hands. These are the best pve for my spec atm.

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why? Boots from Dreamwalker, and meteorite crystal from Algalon. Only pieces I need for Full BiS.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices? I'm the best, learn my class from playing but if there is a question that I cant understand can go to EJ.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec? Kings, Might, Wisdom, Hands of Freedom, and Salvation. and Crusader Aura the best raid buff of all.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec? Depending on spec and fight would be ether Wisdom or Frostwym, Feast.

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it? Beacon MT or OT, followed by Sacred Shield and a flash of light that will be renewed as needed. Then continue to spam shit out of raid.

Main UI is Healbot, use it because its what I have always used and most comfortable with.

Can make every raid. Never missed a raid in 4 yrs but have been late but always post.

1. What raid experience do you have in: Vanilla, BC, and WoTLK? On which characters/roles?

I didn't start playing WoW until shortly after the release of BC. I started out on Araqiel on a pvp server where I quickly learned the ropes of this game (mostly on my own). I transferred to Vek'nilash a few months after I started playing to raid with a friend of mine, sadly he couldn't fulfill his promise of a spot in the guild he was in, so I joined First Order of Hell (Yeah, I know... Araqiel had some dark beginnings).
I raided with them when they started out in Karazhan all the way up until BT when they couldn't handle some of the easiest fights I believe have been in this game. I left FOoH after being tired of carrying other peoples weight, a shadow priest back then was hardly supposed to beat locks and mages (but I did, at least the ones in FOoH)

Then I joined an even greater evil, Vindicator. With them I did every raid encounter in BC (sans Sunwell). While staying in Vindicator I met some old members from Renegade Soldiers and quickly befriended them (seriously, they are some really cool cats). At the start of WotLK, me and most of the old RS guys carried Vindicator through pretty much every fight in Naxxramas. This all changed though when Dragontaru, Tahota and Sliim left Vindicator to join the newly reformed RS. I followed them for two reasons: 1. They were my friends 2. RS needed a priest

And so with the Renegade Soldiers I have done every encounter in WotLK except 10/25 HM LK and Halion. I've had a bit of practice with phase 1&2 of HM Lich King and HM Halion though

Well I'm sure you know what's happened with RS, being that I made a post about it on the realm forums. However, I want to raid with Enigma because honestly you guys seem like a bunch of cool dudes & dudettes. I just want to raid again, and sadly it's not that feasible on Horde side at the moment.

I raid because back in BC I got hooked on that feeling when you finish a tough encounter for the first time. That feeling, along with great friends in the game has kept me here for the past 3 years.

3. Are there any members of Enigma that you feel would give you a strong recommendation?

I doubt it, I'm pretty bad. I'm not even the 4th best shadow priest on the server! Deadjon holds that title... bastard

Yes, I have vent and a brand new headset.

I have three computers that I can raid on, one located in Sweden (where I am right now sadly), one in the US, and a brand new macbook pro with an i7 that can run WoW at 60+ fps. When I move back to the US I can give you more detailed specs on my computer. I've never really had much a problem with dc's when I've been here in Sweden, I find that I have a stabile connection compared to most people I've raided with in the US. My internet connection in the US, I have yet to test since I'm moving in to a new apartment, but it shouldn't be a problem.

Any questions about that I can clear up later, but right now I am at work and can't remember my specs.

Araqiel's Armory Profile

a. Describe your main spec gear set: Include reasons you have obtained certain stats over others, as well as your gem and enchant choices.

There are three stats right now that I love to see on every piece of gear I acquire: Spell Power, Haste, and Crit. In that order! That is also how I prioritize my gemming, except I don't gem for crit because that would be silly.

The only three gems a shadow priest should ever consider are the following: Pure Sp (Runed Cardinal Ruby), SP/Haste (Reckless Ametrine), and sadly this one: SP/Spi (I forget the name).

My spec right now is pretty much generic, minus the points out of Imp MB and the reasoning behind that is because mind blast is lack luster most of the time, and the only reason to do it is to keep replenishment going.

My off spec is discipline because back in Ulduar when dual-spec first came out I thought disc looked pretty fun. Then I learned just how boringly easy it is to play and I started use my spacebar a lot more than usual. Well shadow gear pretty much compliments disc gear, that is the stats are pretty much the same stats (minus hit of course) that we (shadow priests) desire.

If you want me to goof off more than usual, I would be comfortable playing as disc if you needed me to.

6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class?

Major glyphs:
Glyph of Mind Sear
Reason: Vile spirits and those inferno thingies on Halion.
Glyph of Shadow
Reason: A little bit of sp is always nice
Glyph of Mind Flay
Reason: The single most important glyph a shadow priest can get their hands on. 10% extra damage to flay, there's no arguing about that one.

Minor glyphs:

Glyph of Shadowfiend
Reason: That little bastard dies to cleaves... fucking dargons.
Glyph of Levitate
Reason: No reagent cost is pretty awesome.
Glyph of Fortitude
Reason: I don't like wasting mana on buffing I suppose

These are, in my own opinion the best glyphs you can get your hands on. You might question me about the mind sear glyph, but honestly the glyph of sw: pain is pretty useless to me.

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why?

1. Heroic DFO or CTS for my Reign of the Dead
Reason: The proc on RotD is useless to me compared to the proc's on DFO or CTS. The SP gain would be more useful overall to my damage.
2. The heroic bracers of Halion for my hit bracers.
Reason: I am over hitcap by just the right amount to drop my shitty bracers.
*edit* I don't know why this didn't come to thought before, but with the draenei hit buff I'd still be over hit cap if I replaced them, it is still however one of my most important upgrades.
3. Honestly not craving that much of anything for this slot, either my other trinket for a heroic DFO/heroic CTS or perhaps the heroic version of my shitty set gloves.
Reason: Whilst the phylactery and it's proc is hot shit, I'd prefer to have one of the heroic trinkets with passive haste instead of passive crit.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices?

Well everything I've learned from playing this game has been through my own trials and errors, however if you want a real answer I am just going to say shadowpriest.com. The discussion boards are a fantastic source of information to anybody who wants to know more about shadowpriests.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec?

Well it's far from unique but our sustained damage, keeping dots up at all times and being able to switch targets to multi dot is what makes shadow priests strong contendors in damage. And our single target dps output, thanks to the LK patch buff really brought shadow priests to a place where we were once again worth bringing to raids. If you would have asked me this question during the argent tournament I would have told you to not bring us to any fight other than Anub'arak.

Also our survivability thanks to a semi useless talent makes us more reliable in life threatening situations. Our "Oh-shit" button (dispersion) has saved me several times when the raid has taken serious amounts of damage.

I suppose replenishment was worth mentioning, meh.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec?
Flask of the frostwyrm
Any food with spell power (fish feasts, or that firecracker salmon, I think that's what it's called?)
Haste pots.

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it?

The only rotation we have is really an initial rotation, or at least it was kind of that way. But it basically boils down to stacking up shadow weaving 5 times before applying SW:P. VT>MB>Flay (2 or 3 ticks, up to you) > DP (or SWP) > SWP (or DP depending on what you do)

After that it becomes a dance between flaying, MB'ing occasionally (I don't even remember if I do it anymore), and keeping your dots up. Fun stuff!

Stacking agility gems besides two gems to get the meta socket bonus. Fully enchanted with Sons of Hodir shoulder enchant. I recently dropped a belt that put me way over hit cap and gained some armor penetration.

Secondary spec would be marksmen, for the leet silence and other good stuff. But I am currently sticking with Survival at the moment because I feel I can do more DPS with survival until I get more gear. If I where to switch specs I would stack armor pen gems. I am duel spec.

Glyph of Steady Shot - helps do more damage
glyph of serpent sting - helps me do more damage and save mana
glyph of aspect of the viper - helps me save mana and keep it going in between fights, works for now

aim shot, reduces healing 50%, hunters mark increases ranged AP. tranq shot removes 1 enrage or 1 magic effect helps alot. frost trap slows mobs. I can also make fish feasts. but other than that im pure dps

I stick with Flask of Endless rage but poached northern sculpin also works. Fish feast is nice too.

Macro for sending pet in and Marking mob at the same time. Kill Command. THEN
BA,ES,Serpent Sting,AS,Steady Shot,Kill shot
I keep serpent sting up the whole fight, and spam steady shot in between other ability cool downs. I tend to save rapid fire/call of the wild for heroism, but I might pop it going into the fight depending if that would work better. It depends.

Sorry for the fishing pole but im using Heroic Rigomortis and a Heroic Shadow silk spindle.

My gear slots are mostly filled with BiS gear. I have that disgusting Belt I have yet to replace. Besides that I mostly just need some heroic verisons of the items I have. The general rule of the thumb for gemming for an affliction warlock is if the socket doesnt give at leave 7+ SP then just gem pure spell power I do have some expections to that rule because I like having around 1200 haste so I put in 2 Sp haste gems into my neck and shoulders. For enchants I just use the basics and the SP to cloak\ Haste use to gloves provided by my engineering.

b. Describe your secondary spec decision. What is your gear and knowledge level for it? Would you be comfortable using your secondary spec in a raid situation if needed?

My second spec has always been the destro bitch for saurfang besides that I dont really play anything else or really have the gear for demo\destro but I can play both specs with the same amount of skill I play affliction.

Yes they are the best around and they will never let you down.

From someone who actually knows all of the above. Elitist jerks is nice and all but the best advice comes from a player of higher skill who is willing to help.

Great damage/soulstones/Great use of my mechanics on some fights. ( Being able to skip a valk when a warlock is picked up on heroic LK is nice.) Also depending on what spec you are, Awsome buffs.

Flask of the Frost wyrm and Fish buff with some haste pots.

My roatation is as follows, Before the fight I start with stacking my Spyglass with hellfire (rank1) to its maximum stack and Life tap to get the buff up also right before I enter combat I like to hit a potion just so i can use another one at some point during the fight most likely during heroism. I then open with haunt then Unstable affliction I finish with Curse of agony and proceed to use my shadow bolt filler. Of course main important thing is to keep your dots up but it is VERY important not to clip your dots because you lose a great amount of DPS doing this. Same thing goes for Drain soul execution.

Coming September - New Multiple Gaming Community

Due to the limitations of IPB disallowing me from having more then 1 active forum over my IPB license (with their newest 3.1 version) I will be integrating all of the forums I run into a base forum meant as a 'gaming community' for multiple games.

Games included thus far:
- Starcraft 2: (Talking with a sc2 community atm)
- WoW: (Enigma, (Ethereal, casual guild) )
- FFXI: shenanigansls
- FFXIV: TBA

At this time I have little details on the matter, however this will allow me to make a larger community and allow me to work on a resource site that has been in the planning for a month now.

Each of the sites hosted off the resource page will use the same forum, but will have their own 'section' for their uses, as well as have access to various base community resources.

I look forward to providing more details and previews into this matter as the date comes closer.

-- I don't only want to leave my guild, I want to leave my entire realm. Everyone on my guild is incompetent and completely oblivious to the concepts of this game. I am a top level raider and one of the best on my realm, and I need to get into a 25 man group with out some 12 year old having to leave during progression because his mom told him to go to bed. I have herd good things about this guild from my friends and would be honored to leave my realm to join Enigma.

-- (A) -- Gems: For a while I was rolling all strength gems for every socket. I then looked at some of the top Death Knights on the server and saw that they put Inscribed Ametrine in places where I would get a socket bonus. Thus far it has been working pretty well for me.
-- Enchants: Only the best enchants for the maximum amount of DPS I can put out. If you would like a different enchant (For example an enchant for a minor run increase) I would be happy to change it to accommodate the guilds best interest.
-- Talent Spec: At first I chose Unholy because the fact of being an Unholy Death Knight sounded cool. Then as time progressed it became the best spec for 2 handed Death Knight DPS so I was in luck. I then just adjusted to the cookie cutter Unholy Spec.
-- ( -- Secondary Spec (Blood): I chose this blood spec because at a time I thought I would be getting the Shadowmourne Axe, and that if I could tank, getting the item would bee that much easier. I chose blood because I like the fact that I can self heal myself if need be. I would be comfortable using this spec but I might need a little patients making a new strategy for the fight.

-- (1) -- Shadowmourne: Even thought this is the best weapon in the game currently and is just simply put, bad-ass, I have other reasons for wanting this weapon. I want a legendary weapon because I am a great player, and so I deserve a great weapon.
-- (2) -- Sharpened Twilight Scale (RS Heroic): This trinket has a sweet effect and can grant me much more power from Whispering Fang Skull.
-- (3) -- I know its not really one piece but I would like to upgrade my tier set to heroic 277 level gear so I can maximize my DPS.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices?
-- The best source for this information would probably be from the players themselves. If a player tells me that I'm doing something wrong, or my spec/ gear is chosen badly, I hear him out and depending on his reasoning I will look online through many forums to test if he is right. Then I will test his theory out, I will thank him kindly and be know that much more about my class.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec?
-- My Ebon Plague increases the damage output of magical dps.
-- My Horn of Winter gives 155 strength and damage to everyone in the raid.
-- Killer DPS and a spot to fill.

During WoTLK I played Enhancement, and maintained several #1 DPS reccords during Ulduar and Trial of the Crusade. Our guild also maintained Top 10 in the US during Trial of the Crusade. I have cleared all raid instances. Part of one of the first US 10m Hard Mode kills in Ruby Sanctum.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices? For Shamans, EJ is ok, but the tools available like Rawr, and EnhSim are the best tools so that you can sim your charactor with your gear and how it would effect you.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec? Unless your running a frost DK, AP Boost, and Str/Agi boost. A frost DK can bring as much AP as Enhance, but no one can provide the amount of Str/Agi that Enhance brings.

PreBC i raided up until early naxx with Riot Control of Dethecus, after that our GM went on vacation and since it was a few months before BC was coming out and many of us had access to BC alpha/beta, we just decided to play there. Once BC released, we transfered over to Mug'Thol and I was melee dps/recruitment officer on my warrior and we maintained #2 on the server progressing to vashj/kael'thas fairly early on. Although i was apart of the guild for a couple of years, eventually we parted ways at which time i went to detheroc and met crowbar(jetstobrazil). We raided in Inner Circle for a good long while, i eventually aspired to become the un-official officer & raid leader during our early sunwell progression as well as the consitant farming of BT/Hyjal. Once again though that guild eventually went their own seperate ways and i decided it was time to take a break until they wanted to raid again. Once WotLK came out, IC reunited and once again i started raiding heavily with them, progressing throuhg ulduar and reclaiming my title as the best warlock in the guild ! Sadly, IC again disbanded and went casual, after that I started raiding with Jetstobrazil in Rebirth where we progressed to no light yogg and some nice server firsts, although when they decided to transfer i stayed behind. After that i've really just been a casual and progressing through the game with pugs and tha sort of thing, given the current difficulty it hasnt exactly been hard xD

Well, i think my previous answer sums it up fairly well, but long story short i like to stay with jetstobrazil. As for raiding, i find the challenge of organizing 25 people who aren't even in the same contintent to simultaneously execute a plan to be extremely rewarding.

my main spec is enhancment, at the time i stacked haste as high as i could possibly get with my current gearset, as that is what the mechanics favoured, of course i will have to redo my research to determine the optimal gearset/enchants/gems again, and i will do that post haste.

my secondary spec is resto, and im always comfortable to heal. I do it as well as i dps.

Well, i would love to get my hands on Havoc's Call, as weps for melee are nearly always the biggest direct upgrade to one's dps, deathbringer's will would be nice to have as well for an AP gearset and lets face it, its a sexy trinket! After that, there are a few pieces of shaman mail that would be very nice upgrades, Anub'ar Stalker Gloves come to mind, as well as the typical melee gear that people clamour over

Well, draenei bring the 1% hit, heroism, not to mention shaman totems up the wazoo..although i must admit, i dont think any buffs are unique to any particular class anymore..blizzard's definitely made it a point to change that!

flasks flasks flasks, im blessed with my own amazing weapon enchants so.. yeah

Well, shaman are a priority based class so their rotation isnt set in stone, but typically open up with SS, FS, LL, shooting off my LB's the moment the proc is up and dependant on fight managing my cooldowns, certain fights (typically longer ones) ill blow wolves off the go since by the end they will be back up again, others i wait for the heroism and right before pop my wolves/fire ele..

just transfered, and its been a while, ill need to set a new one up and hop in some pugs to get you some screenshots, i will say i heavily keybind (and smartly) and am definitely NOT a clicker.

I use shamwow as a CD monitor, Omen for threat, and whichever raid mod we are using, back in the day it was BigWigs or Vendetta, but i hear DXE is the current one that is being used. I also use Recound and Grid, pitbull and bartender for the custom ui, and there was this frame mod i used but at the moment its name escapes me.

Imo druids are the best raid healers because or heals are quick to get off and are aoe.

On a tank 3 lifeblooms, 1 rejuv, and 1 regrowth let LB run out and redo

For Vanilla, I am sad to say that I have no raiding experience. D: As for BC I have raided all the way up to but never downing Illidan and everything that came before him, using at the time, my mage (mcslackt). As for WoTLK, I have now raided all the way up to and downing the LK (10) using my druid specced into balance. Before that I have cleared Naxx 10 and 25, OS 3 drake 10 and 25, Ulduar 10 and 25 up to General Vezax, Ony 10 and 25, EoE 10 and 25, ToC 10 and 25, and 10 man HM, and finally ICC 10 and ICC 25 up to PCC. (All expect Naxx preformed on my Balance druid mcslack, Have also tanked 10 man ICC up to Sindragosa on my paladin Slackt, Naxx was tanked on my DK mcslacker, or ranged on my mage Mcslackt)

At the moment, I am in a mainly social guild so we do not raid together and I generally get into a group with Cohors or Nerv for 10 man and have to Pug 25 man.

I wish there was, but I know not of any Enigma members that could give me a recommendation, I know I have ran with a lot of them but I am not sure they knew me or remember me since I haven't talked to them directly.

I do have ventrilo and a working microphone. As for my computer I am running a Dell xps with 2g RAM and windows XP. My internet is a cable and generally gives me a 200 MS and 55 FPS while cruising in dalaran.

a. My main set gear focuses on crit/spell power for my Balance set. I've chosen these 2 stats because of a few reasons. 1. Higher crit means faster Eclipse procs and higher DPS. 2. More crits give me more mana back to keep my dps going for longer. 3. Spell power makes my crits hit ever harder and cause my DPS to go even higher and to last for a long time. As for my gem and enchants also focus on Spell power and crit for the reasons above.

b. My secondary spec Resto (Soon to be feral dps but I can always switch back) was chosen to help get into heriocs fasters to get my frost badges. My gear in resto is small and I am working to improve it as this App is made. My experience for healing mainly rests in heriocs and I would not trust myself to heal a raid until I have learned more about resto healing, which is to say, soon.

Major Glyphs include:

Glyph of Moonfire
Glyph of Starfall

Minor Glyphs include:
Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth

As for all my Major glyphs and 2/3 of my minor glyphs are the best possible glyphs to use in PVE situations. My Glyph of Aquatic form is more for those times where I venture out into the world to do a little exploring. The glyph of moonfire and starfire work in unison to increase my dps because I don't have to stop casting to reapply moonfire so often. As for Starfall, starfall has begun to move its way into the top dps spells. With starfall bringing in almost 11% and sometimes higher, of my dps decreasing the CD by 30 seconds is a big increase.

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why?

The first item I would wish for would be Shadowmourne, not to use of course, mainly to go around to people and throw it into Will not be traded, and be like "Opps sorry I was trying to Delete that" and see their reaction . The second would be Phylactery of the Nameless Lich from 25 ICC Sindragosa, the static crit and Spell power buff would be a major increase to dps and I would love to have that piece. Third Piece I would go for would be BloodSurge, Kel'thuzad's Blade of Agony From ICC 25 LK, the amount of SP/crit/haste on that weapon combined with a decent off-hand is an amazing combination.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices?

In my honest opinion, I believe there is no "best source", each thread I've read on the multiplicity of websites I have scavenged for information on my class each had something a little different and I believe that it has made me a better player to not just take on person's idea and stick with that, but to branch out a bit and bring all those ideas together, combine and make the best choice.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec?

The mainly unique thing that my druid brings is the +5% buff to spell critical strike. Although my Farie fire does also slightly increase haste and chance to crit for spell casters on the target I have cast it on.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec?

Since nearing crit cap as it is, the best consumable for me to use would be Flask of the Frost Wyrm for more Spell power, and that is what I use.

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it?

Mainly, (Depending on Fight) I start out with Faerie Fire, Moonfire, and Insect Swarm to allow the tank to get aggro while already starting my rotation. Then I follow up with Starfire or Wrath depending on which Eclipse is on CD, if neither usually start with wrath until Lunar proc then switch to starfire and back to Wrath when Solar procs. When those procs are up I refresh moonfire and insect swarm and repeat.

UI in my Raid Setting

Currently I do not use any UI bar mods because I like the feel of the original layout the best. Otherwise I use DBM(who doesn't?), recount, Eclipse(To moniter my eclipse procs/CDs) and the occasional Healbot/grid if need be.

My attendance should not chance due to school starting, even when it does if anything I could make those raid times with the only change being I might need to leave 30 minutes earlier one or 2 nights and even then I could probably push it to stay on for those.

A good friend of mine Goatcheese suggested the guild to me, so i did a few runs and it seems like a there are some very competent people in this guild. The guild seems well progressed and
organized , I like that. Im not in it for loot, I just need some friends on this server after recently xfering from Daggerspine. I dont have a guild cause my
work shed latley has been horrible and i havnt had time to raid but now im unemplmoyed and I would like to become serious about it.

Main spec - Arcane dps
- Hit is the most important you need 17% total hit , for raid cap, you cannot be missing spells
- Secondary is haste and spellpower

The quicker an arcane mage can pop out arcane blasts the better, you want to have well over 800 haste trying to push the haste limit. Spellpower is something im working on now
as my gear gets better but still keeping my prime focus on haste.

My offspec gear and talents are primarly FROST pvp.. If the guild needed me to change this spec for something more abstract for some odd reason (boss fight ect) I woudnt mind.

6. Molten armor - Is a must , with this glyph on activating Molten armor gives me almost 10% crit
Arcane Blast - Your primary source of dmg, increase the dmg of this is a must.
Arcane Missle - Again increasing another spells dmg in your primary rotation for Arcane dps.

9 . My mage is a glass cannon that can pump out a consistant number every raid as long as the mage isnt forced to move alot. An arcane mage gives a set DMG bonus to everyone in raid.
My mage is well.. i hate to admit it... a food table...
My mage will consistantly show up to raids preped with flasks and buff food and a 100% armor value
My mage will permantly give another caster a 3% crit buff
My mage is speced into slow- Meaning trash and bosses who are effected by it, take a huge hit on DMG and movement speed.

Using Arcane power and all other cooldowns when they are up , and not just on bosses because they are short cooldowns.
- In a burn phase, if your mana can provide, you can just spam ArcaneBlast rather then casting missles for full dmg potential.
- In a mana tight situation you may only be able to cast 3 Arcane blast, and if Arcane barrage has not proced then you may have to cast Missle barrage.

I am a demo lock 0/56/15. For my gear i have maintained just above or below the hit cap of 17% and have been obtaining gear with as much haste as possible. I enchant with runed gems for red socket, purified for blue and reckless for yellow, but i have one hit gem for now to keep at hit cap. I enchant for spell power or what ever the best enchant is for that slot.

b. Describe your secondary spec decision. What is your gear and knowledge level for it? Would you be comfortable using your secondary spec in a raid situation if needed?
My secondary spec is a pvp spec which i just threw together. I have almost full furious gear and relentless rings etc. I am very capable at pvping. It would be stupid to use it in a raid, but i would respec to affliction lock if asked of me.

6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class?
Quick Decay, Life Tap, and Felguard. Yes, these are the best pve glyphs available for my class and spec.

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why?
Heroic Sanctified Dark Coven Gloves - to complete 4 piece t10 set bonus. Heroic Valanar's other signet ring - Adds some more haste and gives hit so that i can get rid of my one hit gem in chest. Heroic Charred Twilight Scale - Adds a ton of haste and the equip bonus is very nice as well.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices?

If im the only lock i use Curse of elements, immolation, corruption, then shadowbolt till i have to reapply immolate or corruption. I use demonic empowerment when its off cd and metamorph on big aoe pulls or when CDs r needed in a boss fight. I use soul fire on last 35% rather than shadowbolt.

During Wrath I leveled my lock, I've been through 10/12 25Icc and 11/12 Icc10, (as well as 6/12 HM-Icc10.) No LK kills due to the guild not going back on 10m to kill him (I wasn't able to make the raid that night).

2. Why do you want to raid with Enigma instead of your current guild? If you are not in a Guild, why? Why do you raid in general? I was in Odium, I finally cracked with having to deal with too much drama and people not logging on to raid. Was just sitting farming up to Sindra 25 every week.

3. Are there any members of Enigma that you feel would give you a strong recommendation? Not that I'm aware of. I've possibly raided with some of you but nothing comes to mind.

4. Do you have ventrilo and a working microphone? What kind of computer/internet connection do you have? Yes and yes. My hubby built the comp, I'm not sure on the spec's but it's good enough as is. Well... I <3 Haste and SP. I'm a smidge under hit cap with the current gear. I love being Destro. I have the otehr 2 peices to make a 4set t10, but at the moment they aren't sanctified so I don't use them. My secondary spec is a messed up Demo spec that I was playing around with for shits and giggles. I still have yet to see a great Demo lock, but I've heard people can some how dps with it.. >.> But no, I'm not good as Demo at all. I've played Affliction fora while, but was still never able to push the same numbers I can do as Destro, then again each spec really is fight dependant.
6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class? I'm using glyph of conflag, incinerate and imp. I chose not to use the glyph of lifetap, because I haven't been stacking any spirit, so I've found imp works out better for myself.

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why? Ooo.. Nice one. That's a very good question. I would like the Charred Twilight Scale (Heroic), Bloodsurge, Kel'thuzad's Blade of Agony (Heroic), Wand of the Ruby Claret (Heroic). All of these items would be decent upgrades for me, some stat changes and a few sockets to boot. I think the weapon more then anything would be a good upgrade, but realistically I could see myself actually getting the wand.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices? Hmm... At the beginning I used to use Maxdps.com. I took some things from there, but alot of time it's been word of mouth from other locks that I've come to know and respect.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec? Well, obviously as a lock, we bring cookies to each raid ^^ Everyone loves fresh cookies o' doom. Also summon stones and soulstones. Personally being Destro I also have Improved Soul leech, so I bring a Replenishment to the table as well.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec? I just stick with Frostwyrm and Fist feasts. I have Cooking and Fishing maxed out, as well as my chef's title and hat.

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it? Immolate->CoE->Conflag->CB->Incinerate That's the basic rotation, usually those spells in that starting order then repeat incinerate until I need to hit Conflag or refresh Immolate.

I just like the WoW UI as it is. Cuts down on clutter, I know where everything is. The only addon I like to use is Quartz, and DBM.

I didn’t get into raiding the end of the Karazhan phase. At that time I played a shadow priest. That lead into Caverns of Time, Isle of Quel'Danas, Hellfire Citadel, Coilfang Reservoir, Tempest Keep, Gruul’s Lair (10/25). Then I leveled my shaman in order to maximize buffs and auras for our raid group. In WOLK I’ve raided on my shaman first as elemental then resto. I’ve done all of the 5 mans, Uld (10/25) [incomplete on 10 and missed only 1 boss on 25], Naxx (10/25), VOA (10/25), TOC (10/25), Ony (10/25) and ICC (10/25).

2. Why do you want to raid with Enigma instead of your current guild? If you are not in a Guild, why? Why do you raid in general?
I recently server transferred with some guild members in order to strengthen our raid with fresh players. The guild I’m currently in is due to following some old guildies when our guild leader when MIA. They run a 10 man which already is a complete group but no second group or 25 man efforts. I’m itching to get back into raiding and I feel like Enigma can help me get to where I want to go which is getting to and finishing end-game content. I raid because I like the challenge and enjoy the benefits which come along with winning (i.e. achievements, titles, gear, & general status).

3. Are there any members of Enigma that you feel would give you a strong recommendation?
I really don’t know any members personally but I’ve raided in the Sun pug for a few weeks; some of the members who run the raid may recognize me.

In my current gear I’ve adjusted my set slightly to take advantage of the haste stat over the MP5 stat while maintaining my 4 set bonus. Haste and spell power are the stats I covet at this time. Previously I was stacking my MP5 because I was frequently having to make up for the lack of healing by our other healers and needed to maintain my mana during long fights. I still maintain my old pieces if I need to switch some out but lately it hasn’t been a problem. I always keep run speed on my boots cause a live healer equals a live raid and sometimes that lil extra helps get me out of a bad spot.

b. Describe your secondary spec decision. What is your gear and knowledge level for it? Would you be comfortable using your secondary spec in a raid situation if needed?
My secondary spec at this time is enhancement PvP spec. I leveled my shaman in this spec and loved but it has been a long time since I played it (prior to a few months ago). After a few attempts at raids in melee I decided I needed to quicken my reflexes so I’ve taken to PvP’n in order to sharpen my reaction time and reacquaint myself with the spec. I’ve always played ranged on all of my toons. The gear for this spec has been primarily accumulated by picking up pieces that others already have. At this time I would be OK playing it but my damage would be extremely low compared to others who regularly play enhancement.

6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class?
Major – lesser healing wave, earth shield, chain heal
I tend to use lesser healing wave especially on ranged since they tend (by necessity or not) to spread out thus making chain heal less effective. Additionally, there are times when tanks need a quick heal just to keep them alive until another healer can get a big heal off. The added healing bonus of the talent and glyph combo is very beneficial in those “oh shit” moments. The chain heal glyph along with my trinket allows me heal up to 5 targets. This is especially beneficial when melee (or ranged if they are somewhat grouped) is taking a lot of aoe damage.

Minor – astral recall, water breathing, eater walking
Shorter hearth stone = happy shammy, the other two are beneficial when traveling around and swimming (so I don’t have to carry more crap in my bags, i.e. reagents)
Some people will probably debate me on the lesser healing vs. the healing wave glyph but for my playing style I’ve found this combo advantageous to my situations.

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why?
I’d have to say any heroic gear because I currently do not have much access to it. [Volde's Cloak of the Night Sky], because as of this writing I don’t have enough badges for it and my back is my lowest piece; [Trauma] because I’d like to try out the proc, extra heals are always good; and [Althor's Abacus –heroic] because it has proc’d frequently for me and the added SP and healing are nice.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices?
I feel a variety of sources are the best because you can take all of the information, analyze it, apply it and figure out what works best for your situation and environment. Raids and players change and you need to be able to change also in order to fill any voids. I use wow heros, wow community site, various forums, watching other players –looking at theirs specs/glyphs and talking to them to see why they do what they do, talking to my husband and his best friend who are both very versed on a variety of classes/specs and by looking at the top related specs to see what the current trends are.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec?
When used effectively, resto shamans fill a middle void lacking by holy pallys or discipline priests and aoe healers like resto druids or holy priest. If a shaman is allowed to focus primarily on melee they can be very effective in providing a good portion of raid heals as well as back up heals on the tanks – especially when they are taking a lot of damage.
Additionally, totem buffs like windfury, wrath of air, tremor, healing or mana (if no pally), and mana tide benefit the entire party and/or raid. And abilities like purge, cleanse, wind shear, and hex are other added benefits.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec?
I use spell power flasks because they have no haste flasks that persist through death and I like very burnt worg or baked manta ray for the haste buff unless we are dying a lot and have fish feast available.

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it?
I really don’t have a formal rotation since each fight is different and occasionally someone screws up which changes the whole dynamic of the encounter. I tend start out by earth shielding the MT (preferably a pally) or whoever is taking the most damage and water shielding myself. Once the MT has gained some aggro I hit [tidal Force] and [Rip Tide] for the crit chance and periodic healing…then I watch to where the healing is needed. I tend to target the main tank so I can throw of quick heals if needed. Typically, I tend to use chain heal on the melee and lesser healing on the ranged unless they are grouped enough and all taking damage to make my chain effective. I throw healing wave on tanks if they are taking a lot of damage otherwise its chain to get all the melee. I’m used to watching the entire raid and filling in where there is the greatest need at the time.

I use VuhDo, Dominos, Recount, Omen, DBM, and EPGP for raids. I would say VuhDo, DBM and Omen are the most important to me because VuhDo allows me to anticipate shifts in damage and see the status of the whole raid without wasting time to adjust my view. It also allows me to customize it to my playing style by allowing my left hand to focus on character movement and lesser used spells while my right hand (mouse clicks and casts my most frequently used spells/abilities – I don’t have to move my mouse across the screen or hand across the keyboard to target a player). DBM because of the raid warnings like Decimate for example which tells me to begin casting my chain heal so I get it off just after it hits the raid. Omen so I can watch those players tend to pull aggro in order to anticipate big heals.

These times actually work best for me as I’m located on the west coast (USA) and don’t normally get home till around 7:00-7:30 server. The days mentioned are workable, I used to raid 5-6 times a week. I'm anxious to get back into a regular raid schedule.

In August I will begin Fall semester but your raid schedule doesn’t appear to interfere with time I will need for school. I attend online so I have the flexibility of making my own study/work schedule.
My work is pretty static and we don’t have evening or weekend hours. There may be occasion where I have to travel but again this will be minimal if any at all.

I raided everything in BC up to sunwell and BT never got to those, also on azidburn started as healer, ended up as a tank. Wotlk I have gone up to sindragosa on 10, just past gunship on 25.

My current guild, while it is doing what it can as far as progression goes, it's full of stoners, whiners, and fuck ups. Pardon my the language but that is the best term for describing them. They crawl from one boss to another, cluelessly, relying primarily it seems on hope to get them through the fight. Enigma was one of the best when I was in it last, and from what I've heard, it has held to that standard, I'd like to be raiding with some of the best again.

3. Are there any members of Enigma that you feel would give you a strong recommendation? That I know of, not really.

The majority of my gear thus far has been gotten simply because the opportunity presented itself. 251 tier shoulders and gloves, 264 tier legs, revered ashen verdict ring, badge rings, badge neck, 264 snowserpent mail helm, frost badge cloak, 251 hauberk of a thousand cuts, crafted bracers, zods repeating longbow, shaft of glacial ice. I've gemmed all for armor pen, though i know I should have held off on that until a certain level of armor pen from gear, but I wanted to see the difference armor pen made, so thats what I gemmed for. the staff I am endeavoring to replace with the weapon from blood princes. working on crafted legs and boots. working on tier chest with badges, and shortly thereafter the helm for the tier 4 piece. bracers I'll pick up whenever they drop.
b. Describe your secondary spec decision. What is your gear and knowledge level for it? Would you be comfortable using your secondary spec in a raid situation if needed? secondary spec is beast mastery, I got it just so I could tame interesting pets and for no other reason.

6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class? serpent sting, steady shot, and kill shot majors, mend pet, pack and feign death minors. majors are the best pve dont think the minors matter much.

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why? Oathbinder, Charge of the Ranger-General that would be just dead sexy, not only because the stats are pretty insane and it has 3 sockets, but the tooltip makes me happy. Deathbringer's Will the armor pen makes me happy, and my trinkets could really use some work. And lastly, as cheesey as its going to sound, I want a thunderfury. I have wanted one since classic, they are really very uber looking.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices? Honestly, I just asked zetahunter/warrior when it comes to gear and spec. I chose this class, to make someone cry. long story. I'd tell you though if you were really interested.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec? I find marksmanship offers more burst dps and longevity as far as damage is concerned. As far as the class goes, hunters literally have infinite mana, with the use of the viper aspect while it does cut down on the damage the hunter does, any other mana using class does not have a means for mana regen that doesnt have a cooldown. so when they are out of mana, thats it.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec? I use flask of endless rage, along with hearty rhino for armor pen, and potion of wild magic

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it? On bosses hunters mark goes up ahead of time, serpent sting is cast first, and generally only required once per boss fight, unless a lot of target changing is going on. then its just chimera shot, aimed shot, steady shot 4x rinse and repeat. I have found that 3 steady shots runs into the cooldown for chimera shot, 4 runs a little past the cooldown but its at least still doing damage rather than waiting. kill shot whenever it can be cast. Contrary to some popular opinions I also have kill command and rapid fire scripted into my attacks so they too go off whenever they are not on cooldown

How many of our raids per week would you be able to make on an ongoing basis? absolutely I would be able to make all of those days for the allotted duration, or however long the raid continued on past that. I for any reason I would be unable to make the raid, I would have advanced warning.

1. What raid experience do you have in: Vanilla, BC, and WoTLK? On which characters/roles? I began playing the game as Icecrown Citadel was released, so i dont really have BC or Vanilla experience, I have seen 10/12 in 10 man reg modes, and 9/ 12 in 25 man reg modes.. sadly i have not been put in a position to experience heroic modes.. except for lootship of course..

2. Why do you want to raid with Enigma instead of your current guild? If you are not in a Guild, why? Why do you raid in general? Enigma is where its at on Vek, not hard to see that.. but aside from renown, i would just like to see what this game can really offer with an elite raid group.

3. Are there any members of Enigma that you feel would give you a strong recommendation? lol no.. i've messed with Leotharius in trade a few times.. hes pretty cool.

4. Do you have ventrilo and a working microphone? What kind of computer/internet connection do you have? Yes and Yes.

Macbook pro, very strong internet connection at all times. only problem i have ever had in a raid was my power going out during a huge storm.

Runed Cardinal - 23 SP
Reckless Ametrine - 12 SP and 10 Haste
Purified Dreadstone - 12 SP and 10 Spirit
Chaotic Skyflare - 21 crit rating and 3% increased Crit damage

Enchant choices are pretty straight forward, as a lock theres not much different i couldve done.

I am short some stats from being stubborn about the 4 set bonus, but a few marks can justify my decisions ( If i ever win a roll XP)

It helps the raid more than myself, :] but my dps in it isnt lacking, it is a very fun spec and it randomly hands out raid wide buffs. thats why i chose it and for certain fights i prefer it.

6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class? Glyph of Conflagrate, Glyph of Life Tap, Glyph of incinerate. at a certain point elitist jerks says that life tap can be traded out due to lack of spirit but im not there yet.. when i get there it will most likely be immolate that replaces it, but that is something i need to research..

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why? Dislodged foreign object from 25 rot, Reign of the unliving from 25 Anub'arak, heroic ring of rapid ascent, and Phylactery of the nameless lich.

DFO/ROTU/PNL - Best in slot casting trinkets.. hard to get ahold of.
Ring - Personal Vendetta towards a certain ninja on vek.. not a huge priority piece.. just something i deserved awhile back..

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices? Elitist Jerks

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec? Sense Invisibility and the ability to breathe underwater? lol nah.. Soul stones, health stones, demonology buffs, summoning ability, and burst damage.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec? Potions of speed, Flask of the Frost Wyrm, and the haste food if no fish feast is dropped.

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it?

CoD or CoE/Immolate/Macro to pop pot of speed and trinket/ Chaos bolt / conflagrate / incinerate a lot/ then keep up immolate and use both chaos and conflag as soon as they are off of CD.

I use Bagnon, Kgpanels, Sexymap, Recount, atlas loot. DBM, satrina buff frames, bartender, and Omen.

id like to raid with enigma to enjoy higher content as well as push my char. to full potential. Wasnt in agreement with the guild progression and the direction the officers are taking the guild.

My main spec is Feral dps, my main stat is armor pen. because i follow along with elites jerks/AJ to figure out the best stats for my class.
MY os is Tanking, and i would have no problem using my secondary spec if needed.

i use major glyph's of shred, rip and savage roar, for my minor i use rebirth, dash and thorns, and yes these are the best for PVE.

Heroic LK feral polearm, heroic Deathbringer's Will, and heroic aldriana's gloves of secrecy.

Elitist Jerks.com would be the best source in my opinion.

I bring improved leader of the pack, which regenerates 8% of their max mana, i bring mangle, which increase bleed dmg the target takes and 5% melee crit rating.

i use flask of relentless assult, and arp. food.

i use priorities, mangle, savage roar, rake, shreds to 5combo points and rip. then keep prioritizing the bleeds as fight continues.
