1. What raid experience do you have in: Vanilla, BC, and WoTLK? On which characters/roles?

I never raided in vanilla really, did some Kara and Gruuls back in the day.

2. Why do you want to raid with Enigma instead of your current guild? If you are not in a Guild, why? Why do you raid in general?

My current guild is losing core raiders every week, we lack good communication and progression.

3. Are there any members of Enigma that you feel would give you a strong recommendation?

Areya (Arophis) if he counts.

4. Do you have ventrilo and a working microphone? What kind of computer/internet connection do you have?

I have ventrilo, a working microphone. My computer is currently running 6GB of RAM with an AMD Athlon 7850 Dual Core Processor (2.8GHz)
and a GeForce 9500 GT graphics card.

a. Describe your main spec gear set: Include reasons you have obtained certain stats over others, as well as your gem and enchant choices.

I prefer gemming straight AP for when it is optimal and the gemming bonus will lower my dps. All of my enchants are to increase my dps as much as it can be increased. As most rogues know, the top damage comes from poisons and mainly melee damage. Poisons and melee scale with attack power, so it is vital that attack power is high. Haste is also a necessary stat for rogues because it determines the rate at which we attack, poisons are applied, etc.

b. Describe your secondary spec decision. What is your gear and knowledge level for it? Would you be comfortable using your secondary
spec in a raid situation if needed? PvP.

6. What major and minor glyphs do you have? Are these the best PVE glyphs available for your class?

I currently use Glyph of Tricks of the Trade, Glyph of Mutilate, and Glyph of Hunger for Blood. These are the best glyphs for my class currently.

7. If you could have any three pieces of gear available currently in game (that you do not already have) what would they be and why?

Heroic Whispering Fanged Skull, BiS DPS Trinket, Heroic Heaven's Fall Kryss of a Thousand Lies, and Heroic Lung Breaker. These three items would increase my dps the most.

8. What is, in your opinion, the best source of information about your class/spec/gearing choices?

Elitest Jerks, other know well rogues.

9. What unique things does your class/spec bring to raids or do better than any other class/spec?

I feel that Mutilate Rogues bring the highest single target dps in WotLK.

10. What combination of raiding consumables is the best for your class/spec?

Flask of Endless Rage, AP Food.

11. What are the primary spells or abilities you use in a raiding environment? If you have a rotation, what is it?

Garrotte, Hunger for Blood, Slice and Dice, Tricks my focus target, Envenom at 4-5 combo points, make sure my slice and dice keeps up, along with my Hunger for Blood. If one envenom overlaps another envenom, I wait until the current envenom has about .1-.3 seconds left before reapplying.

Trick or Treat: TotT add on, lets players know they are being trixxed and threat level.

Rogue Power Bars: Lets me keep track of all my current moves so my dps does not stray from what it is supposed to be at.

14. Our current raid setup is 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (CST) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Are you able to make these raids for the duration? How many of our raids per week would you be able to make on an ongoing basis?

I have been in my current guild for about 4 months, basically have same raid times, and have near 100% attendance. I will be able to attend all raids.

15. Do you anticipate your attendance level changing in the next few months for school, family, work, etc?

My attendance may change around May 2-10, because it is senior prom.

Keep in mind we have a solid rogue core and we are looking for someone to step along side us without much training so be as detailed in your responses as possible.

1. Your ICC experience - is this all 25 man content? What does your 10 man experience look like?

2. Poisons - which do you use, on which hands, and why? Along with this, please explain your using a slow MH and fast OH.

3. You do not mention hit as a stat to gem/enchant/gear for. Please provide some detail on why this is as well as any priority you give to AP over haste (or the other way around).

4. Tricks of the Trade - Who do you chose to use this on and why? If you didnt gain energy from your T10 bonus would you still use it?

Sorry if I was vague, I would love to clear some things up.

1. 25 man is 8/12, my usualy ICC 10 groups are mostly one nighters, nobody showing up to make any more progression, another reason why I want to leave, 6/12 usually.

2. Instant on MH, Deadly on OH, so instant procs on both hands after 5 stacks of deadly applied. Fast OH is to apply deadly asap so instant can begin ticking. Also, switching around my weapons based on speed seems to lower my overall dps output on the spreadsheet.

3. Hit cap for poisons is 315, so as long as I maintain that, I will be fine. Hit never becomes a negative attribute, but once you are past what you need to be, it becomes less usefull. I gem strictly AP or socket for bonus if it outweights the dps of the pure AP. AP is important because it increases the damage of everything you do, including poisons. The majority of my damage strictly comes from poison, which penetrates armor, and then melee, so it would only be appropriate to gem AP. Haste is next priority, because it affects the procs per min of my instant poisons, the more instant poisons i get off, the better.

4. I choose another rogue or the tank, depending on the availability of rogues. I use it on rogues because they can also trix me, negating most of the threat i put on them. Getting +15% damage every 30 seconds is a god send for dps, and transfering over my aggro to the tank for 10 seconds is also something that is very usefull. I was trixing other people before T10 was even out, so yes, I would still use it.

Please keep in mind that we have a solid core of players at the moment and you are essentially in an audition for a raid spot based completely upon your own performance and attendance.

You might also want to make sure you know, inside and out, the last of the bosses in ICC25 and study up on the 25 hard modes.
